From 16 to 21 August 2015, the IEEE International Conference HISTELCON’2015 will be celebrated in Tel-Aviv, Israel. HISTELCON 2015 is a joint event of the series of ICOHTEC Symposia, the IEEE Region 8 HISTELCON series (Paris-2008, Madrid-2010, Pavia-2012) and the IEEE History Center Conferences, in cooperation with the Cohn Institute for History and Philosophy of Science at Tel-Aviv University, the International Society for Science and Religion and the EE Section of the AEAI. It is organized by IEEE Israel Section and ICOHTEC-Israel.

The main theme of the Conference is the “History of High-Technologies and their Socio-Cultural contexts” and it is aimed to allow the interaction of historians and sociologists of technology and science, with practicing engineers, scientists and technical experts, reflecting both their experience and knowledge.
